Growing up in the northern part of Sweden with dark winters and bright summer nights, the contrast between dark and light shaped Daniel’s childhood. Photography was not a clear vision for Daniel as he started his youth playing Junior hockey, but a drastic change saw him swap his skates for skis and introduced him to what the mountains could offer. For almost a decade now, Daniel has been travelling the world capturing skiing, action sports and outdoor influenced journeys, photographed with some of the best athletes in the world. He is a passionate skier and showcases his work through photographic contests and competitions. Daniel was the winner of 2017 Deep Summer Photo Challenge in Whistler, one of the photographers for the Pro Photographer Showdown in Whistler 2017 and one of the top 5 finalists at the Red Bull Illume in the Masterpiece category. Daniel has also been part of the F-Stop gear family for a couple of years and his backpack contains his Sony Alpha 9 and Alpha 7R IV along with zoom lenses from 16 to 200mm. In the exposed environments he shoots in, Daniel values high quality gear that won’t let him down, along with the size and weight of his Alpha gear.
