With an advanced AI processing unit, the RX10 V reliably recognises human eyes as well as body and head position, making it possible to accurately lock onto and track a wide range of subjects, even when the subject faces away from the camera or the face is partially obscured.

Real-time Tracking accurately focuses on and tracks a selected subject when the shutter button is half-pressed. If [Touch Tracking] is engaged, touching a subject on the monitor will instantly select it for tracking.

Quicker, More Responsive Focusing

[1] Focus Mode Switch, the position of the focus mode switch has been redesigned from the RX10 IV and relocated to the side of the lens. This change aims to provide an operating feel similar to that of E-mount lenses and improves the responsiveness of the AF/MF switch. [2] Focus Range Limiter for faster focusing You can preset the focus range based on the distance to the subject you want to focus on, enabling faster focusing. The focus range can be set from 3 m to ∞. This is particularly useful when shooting subjects beyond a foreground, such as through a fence during stadium sports, as it prevents the camera from focusing on the fence instead.

Redesigned controls and more natural operating angles bring enhanced comfort and operability.[1] Dual Control Dials: Independently assignable for custom still and video setups. The lens is equipped with focus, zoom and aperture rings that are easily operated while looking through the viewfinder. The underside of the aperture ring has convex and concave parts for reliable finger contact. Functions and rotation directions assigned to the zoom and focus rings can be changed as desired. In addition to live streaming at up to 4K 30p to a PC via USB (UVC/UAC) connection, you can also stream via wireless or wired LAN networks. When streaming via LAN, you can simultaneously stream live video at up to 4K 30p and record to the camera’s memory card. Supported protocols include RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT.
