How to uninstall a program using the program uninstall utility
Most applications include an uninstall utility that will allow simple and complete removal of all associated files. If the program does not have an uninstall utility, this procedure cannot be completed and the program will need to be manually uninstalled. To be sure of the accurate and safe manual removal of a program, contact the program's manufacturer or refer to the instructions that accompanied the program.
Follow these steps to uninstall a program using the embedded uninstall feature:
- Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click to open the folder of the program you wish to uninstall.
- In the [Program Name] folder, click the Uninstall icon.
- Follow the On-Screen instructions.
NOTE: If the desired application does not uninstall properly, reinstall the program and try again.
