I'm unable to set up my home theatre system or soundbar using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app

    If your Home Theatre System or Soundbar appears in the Applicable Products and Categories of This Article section, you need to complete the initial setup using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect mobile app.

    If you connect an optional subwoofer or rear speakers, they must also be configured using the app.

    If you experience connection or setup issues using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app

    Check the following:


    Sony account sign-in fails

    Make sure you enter the correct Sony account credentials when signing in to the app.

    If the problem persists:

    1. Clear the cookies and cache in the main browser on your smartphone.
    2. Sign in again.

    If Bluetooth pairing is completed but the device registration fails:

    1. Open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone.
    2. Delete the pairing entry displayed as LE_xxxxx (model name).

    Wi-Fi connection fails

    The wireless connection may fail if:

    • The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) contains unsupported characters (e.g., special characters or non-alphabetical characters)
    • The router uses an unsupported frequency band (e.g., 6 GHz or even the 5 GHz band in some regions)
