Take your pick from a comprehensive range of E-mount lenses from Sony. Our acclaimed line-up includes the full-frame G Master™ series that blends breathtaking resolution with exquisite bokeh, and the G Lens™ series that offers excellent image quality and value. Combined with an APS-C body, Sony's ultra-wide lenses can capture sweeping scenery or large subjects in a single frame, while telephoto lenses, assisted by the 1.5 crop factor of APS-C bodies and teleconverter lenses as needed, make it possible to capture distant subjects with stunning clarity and detail.

Accessories expand creative horizons

A variety of high-performance compatible microphones can be connected to the the camera’s Multi Interface Shoe for direct, noise-free digital audio transfer to the camera. Or choose from a variety of high-output flash units such as the HVL-F60RM2 that support high-speed continuous shooting, giving you even more ways to capture creative imagery.

Easy and stable smartphone connectivity

Make the most of the α6700’s greatly enhanced connection stability with Sony’s free Creators’ App⁰ that enables simple transfers of photos and movies to your smartphone or tablet. Transfers continue in the background even if the smartphone display sleeps or a different app is launched.¹ You can also use your smartphone to control the camera remotely.

Connected to a personal computer or smartphone⁰ via USB, the α6700 can function as a 4K (2160p) webcam with advanced AF that makes online meetings and live streaming events even smoother.

Fast Wi-Fi for PC tethering

Built-in Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) allows communication on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz⁰ bands for fast and stable data transfer.

High-speed SD card support

The α6700's SD card slot supports the latest high-speed UHS-I and UHS-II cards for fast buffer clearing, high-resolution movie capture, and smooth editing and sharing workflows.

Digital audio interface for excellent sound quality

The optional ECM-W2BT wireless microphone, ECM-B10 Shotgun Microphone, and other compatible microphones can be connected digitally via the α6700's MuIti Interface Shoe for higher-quality audio recording.

Still/Movie/S&Q dial

Tucked just below the mode dial, the α6700 includes a new dedicated Still/Movie/S&Q dial, which sets menu displays to those relevant to each shooting style. This allows you to access and adjust key settings more quickly and easily via the mode dial.

Headphone and microphone jacks

Built-in headphone and 3.5mm mic jacks allow for accurate audio monitoring and flexible, enhanced audio recording options.

USB PD (Power Delivery)

USB PD (Power Delivery) is supported for fast in-camera battery charging*, supplying 3 to 4 times more power than previous models. A USB charger or mobile battery that supports USB PD** can be connected to the camera's USB Type-C® port so you can undertake extended shoots with ample power supply.

* USB charging and power delivery are only supported via the USB Type-C® terminal. A battery must be installed in the camera when supplying USB power. The internal battery may drain even if USB power is supplied, depending on the adaptor used and camera operating conditions. Use a commercially available USB cable or adapter to connect mobile devices with USB Type-C® connectors to the camera.

** 9-volt/3-amp output. Compatibility is not guaranteed with all USB PD devices. The internal battery will not be charged while camera power is ON and the camera is in use.
