Nick Karanikolas born in Athens, studied Graphic Design at TEI of Athens and attended several photographic courses at Central St. Martin's in London. At the same time he was involved in photography from 1997 until 2008 as an enthusiast, when he took his first complete professional work for the theatre. Since then he has worked with the best actors and directors in Greek theatre, taking photographs and creating material for numerous theatrical productions. Moreover, he has produced creative material for musical groups and has shot sports coverage for magazines too. He was the official photographer for the Greek National Team in the Paralympic Games in London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024. Since 2019 he has worked for several magazines in Greece such as Gastronomos, Taxidia, Greece is, Blue Magazine, Athens Insider, and Athletics Magazine. His favourite kind of photography is everything is related with humanity, such as portrait, theatrical plays and sports.
